My Story Of Becoming A Christian
I have not always been a Christian. In fact, years ago I really didn’t see the point of any religious faith. It probably has mostly to do with the fact that my family is not Christian and never raised me with any sort of religious beliefs. I guess you could say that I was a lost soul.
That all changed when I was introduced to a certain church of which my friend was a member. This person was my neighbor for a few years but I didn’t really know anything about their Christian faith. I saw them leave to go somewhere every Sunday, but it didn’t occur to me that they were going to church.
All of a sudden one day I felt this urge to go talk to them about their beliefs, because by that time I assumed that they were going to a church on Sunday. I went and knocked on their door with the intent to ask a few questions, and they answered everything I asked. They shared many things about Christianity with me. They really got me thinking.
Just a short time later, I made the decision to join the Christian faith. Up to this point in my life, it has been the best decision I have made. I can’t describe the great things I have learned since my conversion date. All of it has made me a better person and changed the way I see things.
As many others have probably felt, I have felt this distinct desire since I converted to share what I know with my family and friends. I have this sudden intense desire to make my home full of only the best Christian products. That presents a problem though, because you can’t buy Christian resources at the corner store.
Much to my relief, there are a whole bunch of small retailers that sell only Christian themed products for people like me. There are supplies for children and adults. Among other things, there is Jesus artwork, church bulletins, and stationary. In fact, I went to my local Christian store recently and I couldn’t believe all the things that they had there.
In my opinion, the best place to find these Christian resources is online. There are times when you just need to find something that your local store doesn’t carry. When that happens, it’s time to go online. You may even find additional things that you didn’t know existed.
My life is very different now that I am a Christian. I see things in a different light. I have filled my life and my home with uplifting things that will bring my family closer together. I thank my neighbors all the time for introducing me to something so special. I don’t know if I’ll be able to repay them, but I will try.
Getting affordable and quality church supplies doesn’t have to be a boring task. Save some time by shopping for Christian resources online and find everything you need for your next service. Or you can for supplies for personal use.
OK i wasn’t a christian either.. like my sister and brother would always come to me every Wednesday and Sunday say to me come to church with us and i would say no cause i had a bad feeling about church cause i didn’t trust it..then one day i decided to go with them and so i went to church and pretty much they talk about testimonies first so i heard people testimonies and then when it was my turn i told i need help from god cause i wanted to get closer to him…so what the pastor told me to come here cause wanted to do a prayer for me so he put his hand on my head and i hold his hand and i repeated this prayer he said for me…then i felt nothing when i went home but i do believe that god was helping me and started to read the bible book to learn about god so every time i was going to church i felt a part of me was changing and i tell u guys 1 thing being save from save god is good cause he answers prayers in many ways trust me he answer mines….so if u don’t like church like i did.all im asking give a christian church 1 try just 1 try that’s all it take…oh one more thing i been save for 6months and god is still working on me everyday in prayers…my life has been is much better because of god. amen
