Secondary glazing and condensation can be a problem for wood window frames. Secondary glazing is simply a second sheet of glass or plastic added to an existing window. It’s goal is to add sound insulation and help with the thermal environment. It is a lot less expensive than replacing windows and it does help with noise and temperature. It will reduce condensation, depending on how it was installed.
